NSF REU Site in Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chain
ABOUT
This new three-year REU project entitled REU Site in Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chain (AMSC) at the University of Louisville will provide a 10-week summer experiential training. REU students will work closely with faculty mentors on cutting-edge research projects that are motivated from real world problems. The AMSC REU students will also participate in professional development opportunities such as workshops, training sessions, research presentations, and plant tours.
We are now accepting applications for the 2025 REU summer program.

Project Mentors
Details of the Research Program
The program for 2024 will run Monday, June 3rd - Friday, Aug 9th.
The program will provide financial support of $6,000 for the 10-week period. In addition, it will cover travel expenses & food allowance up to $800 as well as free on campus housing.
Summer program will include professional development activities, industry tours, social events, and workshops.
Application is open to all community college students and sophomore, junior, and senior undergraduates in AMSC related fields (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Materials, Plastics, Manufacturing Engineering) as well as other STEM fields (e.g., Math, Physics, Chemistry, Psychology, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science).
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and have a desire to participate in research with at least one semester remaining.
